With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Eskilsson in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven Olofsson saved Klimpfjäll RK from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Sven Olofsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Klimpfjäll RK's Sven Olofsson got control of the ball when Gunnar Nordström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gunnar Nordström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Olofsson having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Eskilsson in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven Olofsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Eskilsson in the 27th minute of play forced Klimpfjäll RK's goalkeeper Sven Olofsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Martin Eskilsson made a precise shot to the right of Sven Olofsson. Klimpfjäll RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 31st minute, Malmö FF's Martin Eskilsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Klimpfjäll RK's zone, Gunnar Nordström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven Olofsson came out of the goal and Gunnar Nordström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Eskilsson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 36th minute. Malmö FF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Gunnar Nordström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Sven Olofsson made a huge save. Karl-Magnus Andersson hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After 50 minutes Klimpfjäll RK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Karl-Oskar Zachrisson who took care of the corner kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torsten Axelsson was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 57 minutes, Gunnar Nordström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malmö FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gunnar Nordström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martin Eskilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Olofsson having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Martin Eskilsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven Olofsson. Klimpfjäll RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Eskilsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Klimpfjäll RK's Sven Olofsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Eskilsson in the 66th minute of play. After 66 played minutes Klimpfjäll RK got a freekick which was hit by Isac Hedström. If Martin Eskilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Gunnar Nordström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malmö FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Gunnar Nordström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven Olofsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Malmö FF's Martin Eskilsson got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl-Magnus Andersson's late challenge caught a Malmö FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Magnus Andersson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Klimpfjäll RK getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Karl-Magnus Andersson hit a great ball. Gunnar Nordström struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Sven Olofsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malmö FF. Sven Olofsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Eskilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Klimpfjäll RK defense, Gunnar Nordström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven Olofsson. The Klimpfjäll RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven Olofsson should have stopped the shot. Sven Olofsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gunnar Nordström's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Gunnar Nordström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Olofsson having to interfere. Sven Olofsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Nordström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven Olofsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Nordström in the 98th minute of play. In the 99th minute, Martin Eskilsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven Olofsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Malmö FF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
