Spectators: 6689 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bo Asplund got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Poseidon BK's zone, Peter Alberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manfred Harman came out of the goal and Peter Alberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bo Blanck came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Poseidon BK's Bo Asplund. But to his dismay, Bo Asplund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 21st minute, Viskafors's Sten Pihl dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Bo Blanck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bo Asplund's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Asplund in the 26th minute of play forced Viskafors's goalkeeper Bo Blanck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Poseidon BK fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Poseidon BK's Tord Ljungberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 33 minutes into the match, Poseidon BK's Bertil Sandström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bo Blanck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Tord Ljungberg came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Poseidon BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tord Ljungberg couldn't finish the play. Bo Blanck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Asplund in the 40th minute of the match. Bo Asplund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Bo Blanck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bo Asplund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brian Bergman hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Asplund in the 48th minute of play forced Viskafors's goalkeeper Bo Blanck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Bo Asplund came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Poseidon BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bo Asplund couldn't finish the play. Manfred Harman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Westerstrand, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Bo Asplund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Bo Blanck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot by Algot Gustavsson from long distance, 64 minutes into the match, got Bo Blanck's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 67 minutes into the match, Viskafors's goalkeeper Bo Blanck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bo Asplund. Jan-Åke Sundling hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Brian Bergman's late challenge caught a Poseidon BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brian Bergman helped the player get up and apologised. Poseidon BK made a substitution. Osvald Sellberg replaced Jan-Åke Sundling. After a rather tough play, Viskafors's Brian Bergman got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th match minute, Viskafors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charlie Westerstrand to maneuver through the defense. Bo Asplund might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bo Blanck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bo Asplund ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Poseidon BK booed when Viskafors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Bergman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bo Asplund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tord Ljungberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bo Asplund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tord Ljungberg came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Poseidon BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tord Ljungberg couldn't finish the play. The Viskafors fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Poseidon BK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
