Kurt Wikander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Stefan Abrahamsson made a huge save. In the 9th minute, Kurt Wikander fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Stefan Abrahamsson, passed just outside the right post. In the 11th minute, Kurt Wikander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arvid Ahlbeck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Saxdalen booed when Fredriksberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Moberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 15 minutes into the game, when Stig-Ove Rönn put in a rough tackle. 14 minutes into the game, one of Fredriksberg:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After having played for 19 minutes, Kurt Wikander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saxdalen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurt Wikander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fredriksberg's goalkeeper Stefan Abrahamsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurt Wikander got free with Stefan Abrahamsson in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arvid Ahlbeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Stefan Abrahamsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Fredriksberg getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Mattias Andreasson hit a great ball. A hard shot 35 in the game by Kurt Wikander from a close distance when the talented Stefan Abrahamsson managed to make a qualified save. Fredriksberg's players were relieved. Stefan Abrahamsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Max Frisk showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 36 minute of play. In the 44thth minute of the game Kurt Wikander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fredriksberg's Stefan Abrahamsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kurt Wikander made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Kennet Månsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saxdalen's supporters rose to their feet, but Kennet Månsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefan Abrahamsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Kurt Wikander sped through Fredriksberg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stefan Abrahamsson. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Kurt Wikander put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Stefan Abrahamsson. Stefan Abrahamsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Wikander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eskil Karlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Kuse having to interfere. Saxdalen made a substitution. Karl Åström replaced Kurt Wikander. The supporters of Saxdalen booed when Fredriksberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ted Julin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute of the match Kennet Månsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stefan Abrahamsson skillfully saved the ball. Alexander Lundqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefan Abrahamsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl Åström's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Lundqvist in the 88th minute of play forced Fredriksberg's goalkeeper Stefan Abrahamsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl Åström in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefan Abrahamsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Karl Åström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefan Abrahamsson was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Saxdalen players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
