After a defensive mix-up in FC Potatisbulle's zone, Billy Melberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johan Andberg came out of the goal and Billy Melberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Billy Melberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Johan Andberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Björk in the 31st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lukas Björk in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johan Andberg saved FC Potatisbulle from getting behind. A collision led to Hallabro IFK getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Billy Melberg hit a great ball. FC Potatisbulle's Johan Andberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Björk in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peder Biörk was the one to do the kick off. Dag Lindström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert Emander, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Billy Melberg got free with Johan Andberg in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Billy Melberg scored 0-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johan Andberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oliver Lindgren hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute of the match Herbert Gulliksson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dag Lindström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Billy Melberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Johan Andberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lukas Björk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Johan Andberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tim Allbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johan Andberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Björk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Billy Melberg came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Hallabro IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Billy Melberg couldn't finish the play. Billy Melberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Andberg having to interfere.
