Team Salty FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Östen Dahlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Team Salty FC's Östen Dahlberg got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sigvard Klementsson came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Team Salty FC's Johannes Brolin. But to his dismay, Johannes Brolin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sigvard Klementsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bror Zachrisson's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. When Bror Zachrisson fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Team Salty FC's protests and gave Bror Zachrisson a yellow card for diving instead. Bror Zachrisson kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Torbjörn Grubb's late challenge caught a IF Kingsborough's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torbjörn Grubb helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd minute, one of Team Salty FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Team Salty FC. Östen Dahlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sigvard Klementsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dag Carlsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 62 minute of play. Robin Kellberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bror Zachrisson hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute Robin Kellberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Blomqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Team Salty FC's Dag Carlsson in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Robin Kellberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Patrik Blomqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
