Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. John Sjöö's late challenge caught a Skultuna Rangers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. John Sjöö helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Verner Petersson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexander Drewitz was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 13th minute of the match Bengt-Åke Billström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Birger Gustafsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alexander Drewitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Verner Petersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Verner Petersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexander Drewitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Verner Petersson's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. When Jörgen Bergsten fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skultuna Rangers's protests and gave Jörgen Bergsten a yellow card for diving instead. Jörgen Bergsten hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Alexander Drewitz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Verner Petersson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. If Verner Petersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Verner Petersson in the 36th minute of play forced BK Dykardoja's goalkeeper Alexander Drewitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Jörgen Bergsten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skultuna Rangers's supporters rose to their feet, but Jörgen Bergsten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Drewitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th match minute, Skultuna Rangers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörgen Bergsten to maneuver through the defense. If Verner Petersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Verner Petersson to make the kick off. In the 62nd minute, Bo-Erik Qvarnström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Skultuna Rangers's Verner Petersson got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Lennart Ekman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Birger Gustafsson. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 69th minute, Verner Petersson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skultuna Rangers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Skultuna Rangers's Birger Gustafsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Forssberg in the 78th minute of play. Bo-Erik Qvarnström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Drewitz having to interfere. Alexander Drewitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Verner Petersson in the 84th minute of play. Per Hård kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. When Verner Petersson came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Skultuna Rangers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Verner Petersson couldn't finish the play. Verner Petersson struck a weak shot in the 89th minute.
