After 14 minutes of play, Gubbarna från Ekeby's Jörgen Jönsson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tage Berggren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Axel Vase sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zebastian Månsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörn Fredriksson having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Zebastian Månsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nol's supporters rose to their feet, but Zebastian Månsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörn Fredriksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven Abelsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Jörn Fredriksson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 31st minute, Nol's Sven Abelsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jörn Fredriksson. Jörn Fredriksson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zebastian Månsson in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jörn Fredriksson saved Gubbarna från Ekeby from getting behind. The supporters of Gubbarna från Ekeby booed when Nol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludvig Nordmark didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Nol's Ludvig Nordmark got a free kick in the 40th minute. 46 minutes into the game, Sven Abelsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jörn Fredriksson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jörgen Jönsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Jörgen Jönsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 60 minutes, Patric Lindman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nol and the Gubbarna från Ekeby players grew even worse after the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Tage Berggren, was totally fooled by Gubbarna från Ekeby's Dennis Wallgren, who 61 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The audience was convinced that Zebastian Månsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jörn Fredriksson was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zebastian Månsson in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jörn Fredriksson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Sven Abelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zebastian Månsson scored 4-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jörn Fredriksson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 4-3 when Jörgen Jönsson sped through Nol's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tage Berggren. Gubbarna från Ekeby's Axel Vase got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tage Berggren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörgen Jönsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
