When Olov Pihlwall came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Becka FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olov Pihlwall couldn't finish the play. After 19 minutes, Tommy Örnberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Becka FC and the Sjötorp players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sjötorp booed when Becka FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Örnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gottfrid Stor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl-Oskar Holm having to make a save. 25 minutes into the game, Andreas Sjö cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Karl-Oskar Holm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute, Olov Pihlwall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Örnberg in the 31st minute of play forced Sjötorp's goalkeeper Kurt Bokelund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Örnberg hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Gottfrid Stor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andreas Sjö made a kick off. Gottfrid Stor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Oskar Holm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sjötorp's zone, Olov Pihlwall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kurt Bokelund came out of the goal and Olov Pihlwall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andreas Sjö received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Karl-Oskar Holm came out and tried to block the shot, but Andreas Sjö slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 60th minute. A hard shot 66 in the game by Gottfrid Stor from a close distance when the talented Karl-Oskar Holm managed to make a qualified save. Becka FC's players were relieved. With an all-out effort, Sjötorp's Karl-Oskar Holm threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andreas Sjö, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tommy Örnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 76thth minute of the game Olov Pihlwall who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sjötorp's Kurt Bokelund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Gottfrid Stor came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Sjötorp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gottfrid Stor couldn't finish the play. After 87 minutes of play, Becka FC's Olov Pihlwall made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kurt Bokelund was left in no man's land by his defense there!
