Kurt Bokelund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronny Söderström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Long Ridge Rebels's Anton Njurenius got control of the ball when Gottfrid Stor tried to sneak it across the goal line. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 22nd minute, but Anton Njurenius got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Long Ridge Rebels hanging dry this time. In the 26th minute, Per-Arne Bratt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a good free kick, Per-Arne Bratt got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for Sjötorp. A collision led to Sjötorp getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Claes Jönsson hit a great ball. Long Ridge Rebels were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Sjötorp's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Folke Back took the corner. After a rather tough play, Long Ridge Rebels's Leo Klintæus got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 38th minute, Ragnar Högberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Long Ridge Rebels fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ragnar Högberg in the 41st minute of play forced Sjötorp's goalkeeper Kurt Bokelund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sjötorp's Kurt Bokelund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Ekegren in the 43rd minute of play. Ture Vallengren fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 46th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
Ragnar Högberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute, Per-Arne Bratt fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ture Vallengren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kurt Bokelund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ragnar Högberg in the 65th minute of play. George Ekegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Ragnar Högberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Long Ridge Rebels's supporters rose to their feet, but Ragnar Högberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kurt Bokelund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the match, Sjötorp's goalkeeper Kurt Bokelund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ture Vallengren. Per-Arne Bratt struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Kurt Bokelund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Long Ridge Rebels. When Ture Vallengren came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Long Ridge Rebels fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ture Vallengren couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute, Börje Karlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 81 minutes, Per-Arne Bratt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Long Ridge Rebels's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per-Arne Bratt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sjötorp's zone, Per-Arne Bratt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kurt Bokelund came out of the goal and Per-Arne Bratt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sjötorp's Gottfrid Stor got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anton Njurenius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gottfrid Stor went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Long Ridge Rebels were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
