Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Victor Mattsson started the match with the kick off. Jan-Åke Alin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Kock in the 7th minute of play. When Harald Törnqvist fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Funäsdalen RK's protests and gave Harald Törnqvist a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Töreboda booed when Funäsdalen RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harald Törnqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Töreboda fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Töreboda's Victor Mattsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gustaf Ros charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustaf Ros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Patrick Asmundsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Mattsson's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute Algot Gustafsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Asmundsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Funäsdalen RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Kock to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Funäsdalen RK booed when Töreboda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Överman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Sven-Arne Berggren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrick Asmundsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Patrick Asmundsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Wikander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Sven-Arne Berggren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Töreboda's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Arne Berggren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Asmundsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victor Mattsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Patrick Asmundsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Sven-Arne Berggren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrick Asmundsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 39 minutes into the game, Algot Gustafsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Patrick Asmundsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Victor Mattsson got free in front of the goal in the 43rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Patrick Asmundsson was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Mattsson in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick Asmundsson saved Funäsdalen RK from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mats Ekblom to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Victor Mattsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patrick Asmundsson. Victor Mattsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. When Victor Mattsson came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Töreboda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Mattsson couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes into the match, Töreboda's Sven-Arne Berggren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrick Asmundsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patrick Asmundsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Mattsson in the 63rd minute of the match. Victor Mattsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Funäsdalen RK's Patrick Asmundsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Funäsdalen RK from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Funäsdalen RK's Patrick Asmundsson got control of the ball when Victor Mattsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute, Sven-Arne Berggren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Patrick Asmundsson. The goal made the score 0-7. Gustav Anselius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Patrick Asmundsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Funäsdalen RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Löv to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Töreboda getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Börje Överman hit a great ball. Victor Mattsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Patrick Asmundsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Mattsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrick Asmundsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Mattsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Töreboda's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
