Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Åke Fribäck started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Staffan Fristedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Paul Edström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ted Åkerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Nordlander having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Alnarp's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Fribäck came free, but Patrik Nordlander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Åke Fribäck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Älvkarleby fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Staffan Fristedt in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul Edström saved Älvkarleby from getting behind. Staffan Fristedt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paul Edström having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Älvkarleby's Lars-Erik Söderström got a free kick in the 21st minute. Paul Edström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Erik Johansson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 22 minute of play. Ted Åkerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Bolin hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Isak Hansson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Alnarp's Patrik Nordlander didn't even have to move. After 34 minutes, Andy Dahlkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alnarp and the Älvkarleby players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Alnarp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Dahlkvist to maneuver through the defense. Alnarp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Johansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When Älvkarleby's Åke Fribäck in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alnarp's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Alnarp's Patrik Nordlander got control of the ball when Ted Åkerman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Erik Johansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alnarp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Johansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Älvkarleby getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ernst Kihlberg hit a great ball. Erik Johansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Älvkarleby's Ted Åkerman got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Åke Fribäck reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Patrik Nordlander. The goal made the score 1-2. With a little luck, Alnarp's Patrik Nordlander got control of the ball when Ted Åkerman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Älvkarleby's Isak Hansson got a free kick in the 85th minute. After 86 played minutes, Alnarp's Peter Westerstrand shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paul Edström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alnarp reached it. In the 87th match minute, Alnarp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Allbom to maneuver through the defense. Patrik Nordlander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Åke Fribäck's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Ted Åkermans short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Patrik Nordlander to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 92nd match minute, Älvkarleby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isak Hansson to maneuver through the defense. Staffan Fristedt took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paul Edström. Paul Edström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.
