After 22 played minutes Djurgården IF got a freekick which was hit by Per-Erik Bergren. In the 23rd minute of the match Timmy Fernström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ralf Arenberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dennis Snell had several of the Tre Fiori's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 25 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Adam Hafström as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Dennis Snell sped through Tre Fiori's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adam Hafström. 34 minutes into the match, Malte Grep had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ralf Arenberg. Djurgården IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Malte Grep was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Tre Fiori's zone, Dennis Snell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Hafström came out of the goal and Dennis Snell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Ulrik Godholm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dennis Snell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edwin Söderberg hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kunter Haktanır made a kick off. Dennis Snell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Hafström having to interfere. The supporters of Tre Fiori booed when Djurgården IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Erik Bergren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Djurgården IF's Dennis Snell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adam Hafström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Dennis Snell made a precise shot to the right of Adam Hafström. Tre Fiori's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. In the 86th minute Timmy Fernström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Arenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per-Erik Bergren hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. If Kunter Haktanır had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tre Fiori's Timmy Fernström got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Timmy Fernström off the ground. After 93 played minutes Tre Fiori got a freekick which was hit by Timmy Fernström. Djurgården IF's Dennis Snell got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Djurgården IF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
