The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Hellqvist in the 4th minute of play forced FC Inter Orhoy's goalkeeper Staffan Lindholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ove Källberg scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabian Bogren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the game, August Rolandsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Inter Orhoy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beppie Boys the free kick. After 20 played minutes FC Inter Orhoy got a freekick which was hit by August Rolandsson. In the 21st minute of the match Bo Askberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Staffan Lindholm showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Beppie Boys getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Morgan Lundqvist hit a great ball. Staffan Lindholm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Göran Nyberg in the 25th minute. FC Inter Orhoy's Staffan Lindholm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save FC Inter Orhoy from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute, Ove Källberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ove Källberg came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the FC Inter Orhoy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ove Källberg couldn't finish the play. Fabian Bogren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Källberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Ove Källberg notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Beppie Boys's Fabian Bogren. Fabian Bogren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dick Dalman's late challenge caught a Beppie Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dick Dalman helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Inter Orhoy! The goalkeeper, Staffan Lindholm, was totally fooled by Beppie Boys's Bo Askberg, who 42 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Ian Hellqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Göran Nyberg in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Staffan Lindholm, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ove Källberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabian Bogren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ove Källberg in the 54th minute. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Göran Nyberg sped through FC Inter Orhoy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Staffan Lindholm. Hannes Fredriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Fabian Bogren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Källberg in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Inter Orhoy's Sören Bröms got a free kick in the 76th minute. Ove Källberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ove Källberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Göran Nyberg notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of FC Inter Orhoy's Staffan Lindholm. Staffan Lindholm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Staffan Lindholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Hellqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The supporters of Beppie Boys booed when FC Inter Orhoy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannes Fredriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball.
