Spectators: 4500 (Terracing: 3500, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bertil Ahlström took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sonny Jakobsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bertil Ahlström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the game, Herman Wiman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flen FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hjälteby FK the free kick. In the 11th minute, Herman Wiman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Dahlqvist in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kjell Mårtensson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sonny Jakobsson got free with Kjell Mårtensson in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, Flen FF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Victor Dahlqvist fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Wictor Rosendahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertil Ahlström, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 30th match minute, Hjälteby FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaf Forsberg to maneuver through the defense. Herman Wiman kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute Victor Dahlqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Mårtensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Dahlqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Sonny Jakobsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hjälteby FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sonny Jakobsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kjell Mårtensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flen FF's Bertil Ahlström got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wictor Rosendahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Ahlström in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Kjell Mårtensson came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Hjälteby FK's Sonny Jakobsson. But to his dismay, Sonny Jakobsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 58th minute Victor Dahlqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Mårtensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Flen FF's goalkeeper Kjell Mårtensson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Hjälteby FK's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Ahlström came free, but Wictor Rosendahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Dahlqvist took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kjell Mårtensson. Kjell Mårtensson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Sonny Jakobsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Kjell Mårtensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Hjälteby FK's Sonny Jakobsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kjell Mårtensson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wictor Rosendahl made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Tobias Källberg sent off a good shot on target. Wictor Rosendahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertil Ahlström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig Kollberg's late challenge caught a Flen FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig Kollberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Stig Kollberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Flen FF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hjälteby FK.
