Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kjell-Arne Aleberg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Lennart Lindman sped through Pilsnerpågarnas FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hubert Lövgren. Billy Stabbe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hubert Lövgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Kjell-Arne Aleberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Horred's Sven Örnberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hubert Lövgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Lindman in the 23rd minute of play. If Per-Erik Liljeström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per-Erik Liljeström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Örnberg having to interfere. Sven Örnberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kjell-Arne Aleberg's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Per-Erik Liljeström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Sven Örnberg made a huge save. Hubert Lövgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Lindman in the 42nd minute of play. If Lennart Lindman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kjell-Arne Aleberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lennart Lindman made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell-Arne Aleberg in the 53rd minute of play forced Horred's goalkeeper Sven Örnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute of the match August Engström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven Örnberg skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pilsnerpågarnas FK's zone, Billy Stabbe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hubert Lövgren came out of the goal and Billy Stabbe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Billy Stabbe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Lövgren having to interfere. Axel Vennerström hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Lennart Lindman struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Hubert Lövgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Horred. Sven Örnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Erik Liljeström in the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Horred's Billy Stabbe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hubert Lövgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sven Örnberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Per-Erik Liljeström went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 89th match minute, Pilsnerpågarnas FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helge Siggesson to maneuver through the defense. Hubert Lövgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Lindman in the 90th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
