Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vilhelm Hermansson started the match with the kick off. Sundsbruk BF's Vilhelm Hermansson got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 5th minute Göran Sörman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Arne Strömberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfred Melander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agne Bergstedt having to interfere. 0-1 became the score in the 14th minute when Vilhelm Hermansson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Sven-Arne Strömberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Sörman, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When Allan Hegg fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Motala's protests and gave Allan Hegg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Motala getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Allan Hegg hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Vilhelm Hermansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sundsbruk BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Vilhelm Hermansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Arne Strömberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Maximilian Drake came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Motala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximilian Drake couldn't finish the play. Sven-Arne Strömberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Sörman in the 33rd minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Sundsbruk BF's goal looked a bit too open when Maximilian Drake came free, but Agne Bergstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute Vilhelm Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Arne Strömberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximilian Drake in the 43rd minute of play forced Sundsbruk BF's goalkeeper Agne Bergstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Arne Strömberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Sörman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Motala players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sundsbruk BF were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximilian Drake was the one to do the kick off. Agne Bergstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximilian Drake in the 52nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Motala's Sven-Arne Strömberg got control of the ball when Göran Sörman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maximilian Drake took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agne Bergstedt. Agne Bergstedt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Vilhelm Hermansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Arne Strömberg having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Motala's Rickard Nyberg got a free kick in the 78th minute. When Ronny Ahlén fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sundsbruk BF's protests and gave Ronny Ahlén a yellow card for diving instead. If Göran Sörman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
