In the 9th minute, Göran Sörman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Råda's Robin Törnblom got control of the ball when Göran Sörman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kaj Siöberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agne Bergstedt having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Råda's zone, Göran Sörman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Törnblom came out of the goal and Göran Sörman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robin Törnblom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilhelm Hermansson in the 31st minute of play. Göran Sörman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Törnblom having to interfere. Martin Wennersten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th match minute, Sundsbruk BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wictor Bergendahl to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute of the match Mark Sjöberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Agne Bergstedt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Kaj Siöberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Råda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaj Siöberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Sundsbruk BF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kaj Siöberg 52 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. If Martin Wennersten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Sundsbruk BF fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Sundsbruk BF's Vilhelm Hermansson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With 72 minutes on the clock, Stig-Arne Hellkvist commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Agne Bergstedt went to the wrong direction when Mark Sjöberg was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Ronny Ahlén hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match.
