Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tom Ek kicked off to start the match. Birger Söderlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Bengt-Rune Nyberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt-Rune Nyberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birger Söderlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bengt-Rune Nyberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Boman in the 7th minute of play. Fagerås's Orvar Henriksson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Fagerås from getting a goal against them. Bengt-Rune Nyberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Knut Boman in the 13th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Ungdom United's Dennis Enegren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Orvar Henriksson. Orvar Henriksson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A collision led to Ungdom United getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Michael Rosendal hit a great ball. Dennis Enegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Orvar Henriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Fagerås defense, Tom Ek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orvar Henriksson. The Fagerås fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orvar Henriksson should have stopped the shot. After 46 minutes, Birger Söderlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fagerås and the Ungdom United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ungdom United's Calle Andersson was substituted for Magne Asklund. Birger Söderlund hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After a rather tough play, Ungdom United's Robert Söderström got a free kick in the 51st minute. A collision led to Fagerås getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Edward Siöman hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Mats Stålberg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 60th minute, Mats Stålberg made a precise shot to the right of Bengt-Rune Nyberg. Ungdom United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Tom Ek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Orvar Henriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edward Siöman's late challenge caught a Ungdom United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Birger Söderlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Rune Nyberg having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Tom Ek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Orvar Henriksson. Fagerås's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tom Ek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 92 minutes into the match, Fagerås's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Ek came free, but Orvar Henriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ungdom United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
