Per Holmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Per Hagström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute Christer Lidman suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Krister Fernkvist fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liverpool's protests and gave Krister Fernkvist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Krister Fernkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anton Wahlnäs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Örjan Apelkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Torsten Holmberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Timmernabben IF booed when Liverpool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Hellsing didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olle Thidén in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anton Wahlnäs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anton Wahlnäs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olle Thidén, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When Per Holmberg came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Liverpool fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per Holmberg couldn't finish the play. If Örjan Apelkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Krister Fernkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liverpool's supporters rose to their feet, but Krister Fernkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per Hagström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Örjan Apelkvist made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Krister Fernkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per Hagström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Örjan Apelkvist came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Anton Wahlnäs could save by the left post. 63 minutes into the match, Liverpool's goal looked a bit too open when Olle Thidén came free, but Anton Wahlnäs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Bo-Erik Karlsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Timmernabben IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liverpool the free kick. After 64 played minutes Timmernabben IF got a freekick which was hit by Bo-Erik Karlsson. Krister Fernkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Timmernabben IF's Per Hagström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krister Fernkvist in the 79th minute of play. Örjan Apelkvist struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Anton Wahlnäs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Timmernabben IF. Anton Wahlnäs made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Örjan Apelkvist sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute, Kasper Göransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
