An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Winström in the 12th minute of play forced Dvärsätt RK's goalkeeper Ivar Unesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lövånger's Lennart Winström in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 32 played minutes Dvärsätt RK got a freekick which was hit by Herman Fors. Ivar Unesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Winström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Ronny Kjellkvist made a precise shot to the right of Ivar Unesson. Dvärsätt RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 46th minute, Tommy Eklund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Dvärsätt RK's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Winström came free, but Ivar Unesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Dvärsätt RK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lövånger were winning 1-2.

Erik Alefors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Unesson having to interfere. Kåre Torsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Olof Hermansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kjell Hansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivar Unesson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kjell Hansson ran back to his position shaking his head. Ivar Unesson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lennart Winström in the 63rd minute. After some careless play in the Dvärsätt RK defense, Tom Söderström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivar Unesson. The Dvärsätt RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivar Unesson should have stopped the shot. Kåre Torsberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herman Fors went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Dvärsätt RK booed when Lövånger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronny Kjellkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lövånger's zone, Gösta Berggren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kåre Torsberg came out of the goal and Gösta Berggren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Olof Hermansson in the 87th minute of play forced Lövånger's goalkeeper Kåre Torsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dvärsätt RK's Ivar Unesson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Dvärsätt RK from getting a goal against them.
