Spectators: 6668 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 0) Martin Karlstedt started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the Donsö defense, Anthon Alegren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan-Ove Brolin. The Donsö fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Ove Brolin should have stopped the shot. In the 27th minute, Anthon Alegren fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jan-Ove Brolin, passed just outside the right post. Martin Karlstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Anthon Alegren made a precise shot to the right of Jan-Ove Brolin. Donsö's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Magnus Fransson was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Yngve Mickelsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Donsö's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lagan BF the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Yngve Mickelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Odén, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 56th minute, Östen Pihlwall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Magnus Fransson struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Mathias Algren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Donsö. Christer Sjöström kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Elof Bergvall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Karl-Magnus Fransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Elof Bergvall came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Donsö fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elof Bergvall couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute, Karl-Magnus Fransson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 68th minute, one of Lagan BF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lagan BF. Donsö's Karl-Magnus Fransson got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lagan BF's Mathias Algren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Lagan BF from getting a goal against them. Mathias Algren made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Elof Bergvall sent off a good shot on target. If Karl-Magnus Fransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Magnus Fransson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Mathias Algren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute of the match, Elof Bergvall got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mathias Algren was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elof Bergvall got free with Mathias Algren in the 99th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 100th minute, Christopher Bröms hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donsö's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
