Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lövånger's Tommy Eklund started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Richard Odén took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kåre Torsberg. Lövånger's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 6th minute Tommy Eklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Algren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lövånger getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Alvin Lund hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Richard Odén sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lövånger's Kåre Torsberg didn't even have to move. When Anthon Alegren came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Lagan BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anthon Alegren couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute, Tommy Eklund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christer Sjöström hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Tommy Eklund kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mathias Algren. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. Lennart Winström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Algren having to interfere. Lagan BF's Mathias Algren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Lagan BF from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anthon Alegren in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kåre Torsberg saved Lövånger from getting behind. 47 minutes into the game, Lagan BF's Martin Karlstedt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kåre Torsberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Karlstedt to strike the kick off in the second half. Kåre Torsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Karlstedt in the 59th minute of play. Martin Karlstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kåre Torsberg having to interfere. Mathias Algren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tommy Eklund went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Mathias Algren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Winström in the 77th minute of the match. When Tom Söderström fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lövånger's protests and gave Tom Söderström a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lagan BF booed when Lövånger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Söderström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kåre Torsberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Martin Karlstedt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 81 minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Lövånger's Lennart Winström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mathias Algren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Mathias Algren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Eklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lövånger's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
