Spectators: 7062 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 0) Börje Emander started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Real Madrid C.F. booed when Landvetter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Abrahamsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Björn Stenström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börje Emander, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Anders Springfält took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Abrahamsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th match minute, Real Madrid C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Emil Helström to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Landvetter's goal looked a bit too open when Dick Hylander came free, but Björn Stenström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dick Hylander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the game, Robin Nilsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Björn Stenström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Björn Stenström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dick Hylander in the 25th minute of play. If Robin Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Börje Emander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Stenström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Björn Stenström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Nilsson in the 38th minute of the match. If Börje Emander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Karl-Ove Ennegren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robin Nilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Stenström having to interfere. Börje Emander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Björn Stenström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Real Madrid C.F. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Ove Ennegren made a kick off. With his leg Björn Stenström managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Real Madrid C.F.'s Robin Nilsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Robin Nilsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Björn Stenström having to make a save. If Börje Emander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börje Emander in the 67th minute of play forced Landvetter's goalkeeper Björn Stenström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Börje Emander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 70 minutes, Robin Nilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Madrid C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin Nilsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Landvetter getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Bror Haraldsson hit a great ball. Real Madrid C.F.'s Erling Vestberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 74th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Landvetter. Karl-Ove Ennegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Springfält having to interfere. Robin Nilsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Björn Stenström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Börje Emander showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 84 minute of play. In the 91st minute, Real Madrid C.F.'s Börje Emander dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Björn Stenström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börje Emander in the 94th minute of play. Björn Stenström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robin Nilsson in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Real Madrid C.F. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Landvetter.
