The Ingmar Sjöberg was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ingmar Sjöberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt-Rune Bivall's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Ingmar Sjöberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from August Rosin in the 40th minute of play. Sven-Erik Kråk succeeded in the game's 42nd minute to get real power on a long shot . They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, AminakoyumPKK's Holger Kvick got a free kick in the 94th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Rune Bivall got free with Ingmar Sjöberg in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hällaström's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
