The referee ignored Landvetter's protests and gave Tom Abrahamsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, Tom Abrahamsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 6 minutes, Leif Eskilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hultsbergs BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leif Eskilsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the game, Charles Vennerdal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Björn Stenström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 13 minutes, Charles Vennerdal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hultsbergs BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles Vennerdal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Björn Stenström made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Jonny Nordin sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charles Vennerdal in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Björn Stenström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The attack was good, but when Charles Vennerdal in the 19th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With a little luck, Landvetter's Björn Stenström got control of the ball when Leif Eskilsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Charles Vennerdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leif Eskilsson in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Björn Stenström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Karl-Ove Ennegren's late challenge caught a Hultsbergs BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Ove Ennegren helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hultsbergs BK booed when Landvetter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Ove Ennegren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Landvetter's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leif Eskilsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience was convinced that Charles Vennerdal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Björn Stenström was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charles Vennerdal in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Björn Stenström saved Landvetter from getting behind. Leif Eskilsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Björn Stenström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charles Vennerdal was the one to do the kick off. Bengt-Rune Skog showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Ove Ennegren in the 52nd minute of the match. Björn Stenström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Eskilsson in the 54th minute of play. Björn Stenström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charles Vennerdal went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Leif Eskilsson struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Björn Stenström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hultsbergs BK. Björn Stenström came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Hultsbergs BK's Leif Eskilsson. But to his dismay, Leif Eskilsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Björn Stenström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leif Eskilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Vennerdal in the 74th minute of play forced Landvetter's goalkeeper Björn Stenström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Åke Qvarnström hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 76 minutes of play, Hultsbergs BK's Charles Vennerdal made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Björn Stenström was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 79 minutes, Charles Vennerdal made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Landvetter's Björn Stenström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Björn Stenström didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Hultsbergs BK's Leif Eskilsson shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 8-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 92nd minute, Leif Eskilsson made a precise shot to the right of Björn Stenström. Landvetter's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Charles Vennerdal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
