Spectators: 7236 (Terracing: 5429, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) AC Järna's Leif Arvidsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nils-Emil Springfält received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Kjell-Arne Bergström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kjell-Arne Bergström came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Edsbro IF's Gilbert Bokelund. But to his dismay, Gilbert Bokelund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 19 minutes, Gilbert Bokelund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edsbro IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilbert Bokelund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frans Sjöström in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kjell-Arne Bergström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frans Sjöström took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kjell-Arne Bergström. Kjell-Arne Bergström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Gilbert Bokelund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kjell-Arne Bergström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Bokelund in the 31st minute of play forced AC Järna's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frans Sjöström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kjell-Arne Bergström having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leif Arvidsson in the 35th minute of play forced Edsbro IF's goalkeeper Valentin Deckberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leif Arvidsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valentin Deckberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Leif Arvidsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Deckberg having to interfere. When Frans Sjöström came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Edsbro IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frans Sjöström couldn't finish the play. Kjell-Arne Bergström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frans Sjöström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frans Sjöström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Kjell-Arne Bergström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilbert Bokelund was the one to do the kick off. Edsbro IF's Valentin Deckberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leif Arvidsson in the 55th minute of play. Joel Johnsson hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. AC Järna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nils Ahlrot in the 63rd minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Adrian Stenkvist advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-3 in the 64th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Leif Arvidsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Järna's supporters rose to their feet, but Leif Arvidsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Deckberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frans Sundling kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Samuel Svanér kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, AC Järna's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Bokelund came free, but Kjell-Arne Bergström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Edsbro IF's zone, Erik Stenström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Deckberg came out of the goal and Erik Stenström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frans Sjöström got free with Kjell-Arne Bergström in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gilbert Bokelund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frans Sjöström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell-Arne Bergström having to interfere. The AC Järna fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Edsbro IF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
