Spectators: 7312 (Terracing: 5485, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Petter Norberg got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Forfar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Petter Norberg came free, but Silverio Txartiko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Pontus Löfdahl fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Forfar FC's protests and gave Pontus Löfdahl a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hobsala FF booed when Forfar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pontus Löfdahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Jörn Falck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hobsala FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Olov Lundin charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olov Lundin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st minute, Olov Lundin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Valentin Ambjörnsson came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Forfar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Ambjörnsson couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Forfar FC's Silverio Txartiko got control of the ball when Jörn Falck tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute, Valentin Ambjörnsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Birger Ek was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Valentin Ambjörnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forfar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Ambjörnsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Birger Ek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herbert Gustavsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Forfar FC's Silverio Txartiko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petter Norberg in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valentin Ambjörnsson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Forfar FC's Manfred Näver seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Manfred Näver the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Forfar FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Manfred Näver had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 56th minute, one of Forfar FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Forfar FC. Albert Andberg kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes Forfar FC got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Gustavsson. When Pontus Löfdahl came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Forfar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pontus Löfdahl couldn't finish the play. Valentin Ambjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Birger Ek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hobsala FF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Albert Andberg 94 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2.
