Edsbro IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilbert Bokelund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Willig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd match minute, Väja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Bergström to maneuver through the defense. When Sven-Edvin Lilja fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Väja's protests and gave Sven-Edvin Lilja a yellow card for diving instead. Sven-Edvin Lilja kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 83 minutes, Ian Glad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Väja and the Edsbro IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Väja's Håkan Sandell got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joel Johnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Willig having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Edsbro IF's Frans Sjöström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Willig narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Väja were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Edsbro IF to leave the ground with a draw.
