When Johan Glanselius came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Kvarngärdet FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johan Glanselius couldn't finish the play. Sakarias Busk who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Sixten Dusett when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eskil Haraldsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute Krister Lindblom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Jonsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Kvarngärdet FF's Valentin Arenstedt seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Valentin Arenstedt the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kvarngärdet FF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Valentin Arenstedt had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Emanuel Gustafsson shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When Sakarias Busk came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Kvarngärdet FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sakarias Busk couldn't finish the play. In the 19th match minute, Kvarngärdet FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Hydén to maneuver through the defense. Carl Vestlund struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Charles Jonsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Strömberg IF. Johan Glanselius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Sixten Dusett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute Eskil Haraldsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixten Dusett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Strömberg IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sakarias Busk fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Strömberg IF's Krister Lindblom got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute Carl Vestlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Jonsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Carl Vestlund notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kvarngärdet FF's Charles Jonsson. Charles Jonsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Charles Jonsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Wennerqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Sakarias Busk made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Conny Lindgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kvarngärdet FF and the Strömberg IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kvarngärdet FF getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Conny Lindgren hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Kvarngärdet FF's goal looked a bit too open when Krister Lindblom came free, but Charles Jonsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Kvarngärdet FF's goalkeeper Charles Jonsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Krister Lindblom. 67 minutes into the game, Strömberg IF's Krister Lindblom nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Charles Jonsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. If Johan Glanselius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sixten Dusett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sakarias Busk, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Johan Glanselius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kvarngärdet FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johan Glanselius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Krister Lindblom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Axel Hydén's late challenge caught a Strömberg IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Axel Hydén helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes Kvarngärdet FF got a freekick which was hit by Axel Hydén. Kvarngärdet FF's Charles Jonsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Kvarngärdet FF from getting a goal against them. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Strömberg IF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
