With a left leg Pål Helander saved Knegoffs IF from getting behind. After 6 played minutes Brownsugar got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Åke Finsberg. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Per-Oskar Sjöberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knegoffs IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Per-Oskar Sjöberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christoffer Kuse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Oskar Sjöberg in the 12th minute of play forced Brownsugar's goalkeeper Christoffer Kuse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per-Oskar Sjöberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoffer Kuse having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Brownsugar's Sakarias Björkqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pål Helander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Brownsugar's Ingvar Bålström got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31stth minute of the game Sakarias Björkqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Knegoffs IF's Pål Helander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ingvar Bålström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Pål Helander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Knegoffs IF's Pål Helander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Bålström in the 36th minute of play. Pål Helander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sakarias Björkqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bo Gustavsson kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Pål Helander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sakarias Björkqvist in the 47th minute of play. The Knegoffs IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Brownsugar were winning 0-1.

Sebastian Flink charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With an all-out effort, Brownsugar's Pål Helander threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sakarias Björkqvist, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Christoffer Kuse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rune Hedbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. With his leg Pål Helander managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Brownsugar's Ingvar Bålström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 96 played minutes Brownsugar got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Bålström. Brownsugar's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
