After 5 minutes, Per-Åke Hellbom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skorpelid FK and the Knegoffs IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes Skorpelid FK got a freekick which was hit by Per-Åke Hellbom. In the 6th minute of the match Sebastian Flink sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Georg Olsmann skillfully saved the ball. Pål Helander came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Skorpelid FK's Leonardo Kruuse. But to his dismay, Leonardo Kruuse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Fredrik Tham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Rune Hedbom kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Georg Olsmann. That made the score 1-1 in the 13 minute of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Leonardo Kruuse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skorpelid FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Kruuse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Fredrik Tham managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skorpelid FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Fredrik Tham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pål Helander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Knegoffs IF getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Adrian Öfverman hit a great ball. Fredrik Tham's late challenge caught a Knegoffs IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fredrik Tham helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Skorpelid FK getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Fredrik Tham hit a great ball. Sebastian Flink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Olsmann having to interfere. Rune Hedbom came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Georg Olsmann could save by the left post. Pål Helander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Kruuse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Per-Åke Hellbom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skorpelid FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Per-Åke Hellbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pål Helander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonardo Kruuse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Pål Helander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Per-Oskar Sjöberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Georg Olsmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Oskar Sjöberg in the 52nd minute of the match. Pål Helander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Kruuse, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Gösta Hultman could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Pål Helander however easily saved by the left post. Leonardo Kruuse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Helander having to interfere. Knegoffs IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skorpelid FK the free kick. After 73 played minutes Knegoffs IF got a freekick which was hit by Karl Bodin. Gösta Hultman took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pål Helander. Pål Helander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Leonardo Kruuse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Helander having to interfere. If Fredrik Tham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Knegoffs IF's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Tham came free, but Pål Helander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Skorpelid FK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Knegoffs IF throughout the match.
