Rune Skytt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute Rune Skytt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Asserlindh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Tobias Malm got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Rabbalshede FF getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Charles Petersson hit a great ball. Tobias Lindgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, mancester united's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Lindgren came free, but Per-Olof Kling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rune Skytt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerry Asklund during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tobias Malm might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Asserlindh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tobias Malm ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Skytt in the 51st minute of play forced Rabbalshede FF's goalkeeper Daniel Asserlindh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Rune Skytt made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Asserlindh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Skytt in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rabbalshede FF's Jerry Asklund got a free kick in the 61st minute. Lars Duset hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Rune Skytt sped through Rabbalshede FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Daniel Asserlindh. Jerry Asklund got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 70 played minutes Rabbalshede FF got a freekick which was hit by Jerry Asklund. 73 minutes into the match, Charles Petersson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Per-Olof Kling. mancester united's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charles Petersson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Daniel Asserlindh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rune Skytt, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Per-Olof Kling made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Tobias Lindgren sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Skytt in the 83rd minute of play forced Rabbalshede FF's goalkeeper Daniel Asserlindh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zebastian Kellberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Rabbalshede FF booed when mancester united was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Modig didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in mancester united fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 97th minute. Penalty!
