Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lars Alén kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Olympic Impressa's Mark Jonasson got control of the ball when Lars Alén tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 6 played minutes IFK Glenntown got a freekick which was hit by Lars Alén. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orvar Lundkvist in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvar Svanström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orvar Lundkvist in the 10th minute of play forced IFK Glenntown's goalkeeper Alvar Svanström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulrik Pihlblad might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvar Svanström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulrik Pihlblad ran back to his position shaking his head. Alvar Svanström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orvar Lundkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvar Svanström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orvar Lundkvist in the 23rd minute of play. Lars Alén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Jonasson having to interfere. Mattias Qvarnström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lars Alén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Jonasson having to interfere. Mark Jonasson was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Lars Alén capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lars Alén really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. IFK Glenntown's Mikael Caspersson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 46th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mark Jonasson but with some difficulty. Mark Jonasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Qvarnström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orvar Lundkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 64 minutes into the game, Rune Almqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olympic Impressa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK Glenntown the free kick. The supporters of IFK Glenntown booed when Olympic Impressa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rune Almqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kevin Vall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Mark Jonasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Kevin Vall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Jonasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Åke Julin kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Ulrik Pihlblad who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Alvar Svanström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulrik Pihlblad got free with Alvar Svanström in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Orvar Lundkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orvar Lundkvist in the 93rd minute of play forced IFK Glenntown's goalkeeper Alvar Svanström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olympic Impressa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
