Markus Jelm was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Orvar Lundkvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Orvar Lundkvist really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Orvar Lind managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floda RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Orvar Lind was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mark Jonasson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Georg Myr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Mark Jonasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute Orvar Lind shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Jonasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olof Strömqvist's late challenge caught a Floda RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olof Strömqvist helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Olof Strömqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orvar Lind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 played minutes Olympic Impressa got a freekick which was hit by Olof Strömqvist. In the 26th minute, Ulrik Pihlblad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Floda RK's goal looked a bit too open when Orvar Lundkvist came free, but Markus Jelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olympic Impressa's Mark Jonasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georg Myr in the 30th minute of play. Markus Jelm made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Ulrik Pihlblad sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Olympic Impressa defense, Georg Myr kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mark Jonasson. The Olympic Impressa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mark Jonasson should have stopped the shot. Ulrik Pihlblad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Jelm having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The supporters of Floda RK booed when Olympic Impressa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Åke Nyqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Orvar Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Orvar Lundkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Floda RK getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Niklas Ekenberg hit a great ball. Orvar Lundkvist's late challenge caught a Floda RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orvar Lundkvist helped the player get up and apologised. When Orvar Lind came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Floda RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orvar Lind couldn't finish the play. If Orvar Lundkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute Orvar Lundkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Jelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes, Rolf Jernberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Floda RK and the Olympic Impressa players grew even worse after the yellow card. With his leg Mark Jonasson managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Floda RK's Georg Myr fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Floda RK booed when Olympic Impressa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Åke Nyqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mark Jonasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orvar Lind in the 92nd minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Floda RK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
