After 5 played minutes Hallsberg FK got a freekick which was hit by Jesper Uter. In the 7thth minute of the game Philip Emander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hallsberg FK's Stig Tinglöf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Philip Emander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Hallsberg FK's goal looked a bit too open when Philip Emander came free, but Stig Tinglöf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Philip Emander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Max Bolander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils-Emil Björk hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Max Bolander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Tinglöf having to interfere. After some careless play in the Hallsberg FK defense, Max Bolander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stig Tinglöf. The Hallsberg FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stig Tinglöf should have stopped the shot. Philip Emander scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stig Tinglöf, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Max Bolander came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the St Davids Dents fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Max Bolander couldn't finish the play. Stig Tinglöf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Bolander in the 46th minute of the match. Ulf Jespersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Godholm having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Max Bolander made a kick off. Stig Tinglöf stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Max Bolander's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Stig Tinglöf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Bolander in the 54th minute of play. If Karl-Johan Vase had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Johan Vase took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ove Godholm. Ove Godholm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Thanks to some nice moves Philip Emander could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Stig Tinglöf however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Hallsberg FK's Stig Tinglöf got control of the ball when Philip Emander tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Philip Emander got free with Stig Tinglöf in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Philip Emander managed to get in a good position for a shot. St Davids Dents's supporters rose to their feet, but Philip Emander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stig Tinglöf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Philip Emander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Tinglöf having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Karl-Johan Vase shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Godholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Johan Vase received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ove Godholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulf Jespersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. St Davids Dents played a much better game than Hallsberg FK and deserved their victory. The Hallsberg FK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
