Spectators: 6683 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1683, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Magne Beneth started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Jesper Gustafsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jan-Åke Bogren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 16th minute, Kenneth Snäll made a precise shot to the right of Jan-Åke Bogren. Trehörningsjö FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Kenneth Snäll recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Trehörningsjö FF's Marko Josefsson got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 31 minutes of play, CP IF's David Björck made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Åke Bogren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Trehörningsjö FF's Jan-Åke Bogren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Björck in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesper Gustafsson in the 46th minute of play forced Trehörningsjö FF's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Bogren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CP IF's Magne Beneth got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Egon Simonsson made the kick off in the second half. Kent Klemensson kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 57 played minutes Trehörningsjö FF got a freekick which was hit by August Sundberg. After having played for 58 minutes, Magne Beneth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CP IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Magne Beneth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan-Åke Bogren stood somewhat misplaced when Magne Beneth came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 59 minute. The supporters of Trehörningsjö FF booed when CP IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herman Löfskog didn't get a good kick on the ball. Örjan Pilblad struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Eric Nordin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trehörningsjö FF. Egon Simonsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Eric Nordin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kenneth Snäll in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jan-Åke Bogren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Magne Beneth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Åke Bogren having to interfere. Kenneth Snäll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan-Åke Bogren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magne Beneth in the 84th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, Eric Almqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CP IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trehörningsjö FF the free kick. After 87 played minutes CP IF got a freekick which was hit by Eric Almqvist. 92 minutes into the match, Trehörningsjö FF's goal looked a bit too open when Magne Beneth came free, but Jan-Åke Bogren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Modig missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 95 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Eric Nordin right hand side.
