Arne Nordin in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sigvard Lindgren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arne Nordin got free with Sigvard Lindgren in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Bo Tunander kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sigvard Lindgren. That made the score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. The attack was good, but when Bo Tunander in the 29th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Bo Tunander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spurs's supporters rose to their feet, but Bo Tunander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sigvard Lindgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arne Nordin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigvard Lindgren having to interfere. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Spurs reached it. If Bo Tunander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. Sigvard Lindgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Järlåsa's Sverker Haegg got a free kick in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Tunander in the 94th minute of play forced Järlåsa's goalkeeper Sigvard Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arne Nordin struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Sigvard Lindgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spurs. Spurs's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
