Näsåker's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albin Kihlman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Stellan Ahlrot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Näsåker's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vans FK the free kick. In the 12th match minute, Näsåker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stellan Ahlrot to maneuver through the defense. Dick Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicklas Viberg in the 15th minute of play. The wind increased when Elliot Almkvist made the kick off in the second half. If Albin Kihlman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dick Nordström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicklas Viberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Nicklas Viberg struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Dick Nordström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Näsåker. Dick Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Kihlman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
