Arman Samuelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herman Myr in the 3rd minute of play. Karl-Erik Harman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Per-Arne Ahlkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adam Sundström struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Per-Arne Ahlkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vansbro. Per-Arne Ahlkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvin Hjortberg in the 10th minute of the match. Per-Arne Ahlkvist came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Vansbro's Adam Sundström. But to his dismay, Adam Sundström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 19th minute, Adam Sundström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Per-Arne Ahlkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Karl-Erik Harman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Per-Arne Ahlkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hällaström's zone, Karl-Erik Harman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Arne Ahlkvist came out of the goal and Karl-Erik Harman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Arvin Hjortberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per-Arne Ahlkvist made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Adam Sundström sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the match, Vansbro's Adam Sundström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Per-Arne Ahlkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Per-Arne Ahlkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Erik Harman, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Karl-Erik Harman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Per-Arne Ahlkvist having to make a save. If Karl-Erik Harman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herman Myr was the one to do the kick off. When Karl-Erik Harman came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Vansbro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Erik Harman couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute, Arne Biörling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 57 minutes, Herman Myr managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hällaström's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herman Myr was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Myr in the 60th minute of play forced Vansbro's goalkeeper Arman Samuelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per-Arne Ahlkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Erik Harman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Hällaström's Sigvard Wennerlund got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Folke Wallander made a great header on Vansbro's corner, it was just that Hällaström's Per-Arne Ahlkvist managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 69th minute, Herman Myr reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arman Samuelsson. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 73rd minute, Sebastian Falkrantz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adam Sundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Arne Ahlkvist having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Adam Sundström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hällaström's Per-Arne Ahlkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Erik Harman in the 93rd minute of play. When Karl-Erik Harman came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Vansbro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Erik Harman couldn't finish the play. In the 97th minute Adam Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Arne Ahlkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vansbro's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
