In the 18th minute Björn Alefors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenny Esbjörnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Björn Alefors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenny Esbjörnsson having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lindholm United's zone, Gustav Askestät stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenny Esbjörnsson came out of the goal and Gustav Askestät tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Lindholm United defense, Björn Alefors kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kenny Esbjörnsson. The Lindholm United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kenny Esbjörnsson should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute of the match Sollerön got a corner. Lindholm United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dag Ivarsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 32 minutes, Fritz Utter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lindholm United and the Sollerön players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lindholm United getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Fritz Utter hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Fritz Utter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lindholm United's supporters rose to their feet, but Fritz Utter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marc Siöman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sollerön walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
