Kenny Esbjörnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henning Sundén, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. If Jakob Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 10 played minutes Lindholm United got a freekick which was hit by Robert Ahlroht. Lödöse's Jakob Svensson managed to work through Lindholm United's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Jakob Svensson dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Henning Sundén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute Henning Sundén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenny Esbjörnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, Lindholm United's Fritz Utter made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stig Sillén was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Lindholm United booed when Lödöse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Håkan Askelöf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lindholm United's Ronny Lind couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 38th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lödöse. Otto Glad took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stig Sillén. Stig Sillén dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After the first half Lindholm United were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henning Sundén to strike the kick off in the second half. Otto Glad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Fritz Utter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stig Sillén was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 69th minute Fritz Utter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Sillén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig Sillén made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Otto Glad sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th match minute, Lindholm United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Åström to maneuver through the defense. If Henning Sundén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jakob Svensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenny Esbjörnsson having to interfere. Lindholm United's Fritz Utter was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 85th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Lindholm United's Kenny Esbjörnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Svensson in the 91st minute of play. Robert Ahlroht charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert Ahlroht the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute, Robert Ahlroht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lindholm United's Kenny Esbjörnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henning Sundén in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lindholm United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
