After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Sivert Kämpe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dalsjöfors's supporters rose to their feet, but Sivert Kämpe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zebastian Utter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dalsjöfors fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Saltsjöbaden a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ronny Björklund, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dalsjöfors's John Löfdahl. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Sörman during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dalsjöfors's Felix Månsson got a free kick in the 16th minute. John Löfdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Sörman in the 18th minute of the match. If Folke Sigman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Sivert Kämpe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zebastian Utter. Saltsjöbaden's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sivert Kämpe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. John Löfdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Sigman in the 28th minute of play. When Jan Lindgren fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saltsjöbaden's protests and gave Jan Lindgren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th match minute, Saltsjöbaden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Lindgren to maneuver through the defense. Zebastian Utter was a little too slow when Josef Ambjörnsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Josef Ambjörnsson was the one to do the kick off. Simon Sörman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Löfdahl having to interfere. If Folke Sigman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Simon Sörman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Löfdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 69 minutes, Folke Sigman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saltsjöbaden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Folke Sigman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. John Löfdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folke Sigman in the 71st minute of the match. Folke Sigman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A hard shot 75 in the game by Folke Sigman from a close distance when the talented John Löfdahl managed to make a qualified save. Dalsjöfors's players were relieved. Folke Sigman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but John Löfdahl made a huge save. After 92 played minutes Dalsjöfors got a freekick which was hit by John Sörman. Simon Sörman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Folke Sigmans short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got John Löfdahl to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Simon Sörman kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
