In the 9th minute, Pontus Byström made a precise shot to the right of Esbjörn Björklund. Clúb Vendetta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Morgan Fagerberg kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Sven Ahlbom, 13 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Pontus Byström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esbjörn Björklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Oskar Klementsson in the 17th minute of the match. John Bäcklin got the audience’s attention when, from a short distance, he fired away a great shot in the 22nd minute of the game. The shot hit the left post and bounced out. Stridsvagnens FK's Karl-Oskar Klementsson got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Stridsvagnens FK's Pontus Byström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esbjörn Björklund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Charles Österberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Esbjörn Björklund. Esbjörn Björklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Oskar Klementsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rdth minute of the game Pontus Byström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clúb Vendetta's Esbjörn Björklund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 36 played minutes, Clúb Vendetta's Edgar Bock shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edvin Thedin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Clúb Vendetta reached it. Stridsvagnens FK's Edvin Thedin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Stridsvagnens FK from getting a goal against them. After 40 minutes, Nils Palmquist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stridsvagnens FK and the Clúb Vendetta players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Stridsvagnens FK getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Nils Palmquist hit a great ball. If Jörn Åkerström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Bäcklin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Edvin Thedin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Esbjörn Björklund was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Karl-Oskar Klementsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karl-Oskar Klementsson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Jörn Åkerström kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. A hard shot by Charles Österberg from long distance, 69 minutes into the match, got Esbjörn Björklund's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Morgan Fagerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Esbjörn Björklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pontus Byström in the 94th minute of play. After 96 played minutes Clúb Vendetta got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Arne Apelquist. The Stridsvagnens FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Stridsvagnens FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
