Henric Petersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Svartengren having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Risögrund BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agne Ryberg to maneuver through the defense. Jens Danielsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magnus Larsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Björk got free with Jens Danielsson in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Ingvar Skytt put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kent Svartengren. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Skytt in the 35th minute of play forced Risögrund BF's goalkeeper Kent Svartengren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
