Spectators: 6674 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emil Asserlindh started the match with the kick off. After 6 minutes, Andreas Beckman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Långshyttan and the Horn RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 played minutes Långshyttan got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Beckman. In the 8th minute Horn RK were awarded a corner. Calle Andreasson went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elof Snell in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edwin Rosén saved Långshyttan from getting behind. 20 minutes into the game, Edward Jakobsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Långshyttan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Horn RK the free kick. With 24 minutes on the clock, Karl Bolander commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Långshyttan fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! Andreas Beckman kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Vilgot Lidman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jörn Bergsten in the 36th minute. Edwin Rosén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Nordal, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elof Snell was the one to do the kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Långshyttan:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Horn RK:s goal. The supporters of Långshyttan booed when Horn RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Lind didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elof Snell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Horn RK's zone, Jörn Bergsten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vilgot Lidman came out of the goal and Jörn Bergsten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edwin Rosén made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michel Nordal in the 82nd minute. Andreas Beckman hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Elof Snell's late challenge caught a Långshyttan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elof Snell helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th minute, Elof Snell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emil Asserlindh hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Elof Snell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin Rosén having to interfere. Jörn Bergsten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
