Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Arne Fredriksson in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrik Sigman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Valdemar Bohlin came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Dala-Järna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdemar Bohlin couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Patrik Gregersson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dala-Järna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Sven-Arne Fredriksson struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Patrik Sigman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dala-Järna. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Trollhättan FK's goalkeeper Patrik Sigman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Arne Fredriksson couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, Patrik Gregersson notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Trollhättan FK's Patrik Sigman. Patrik Sigman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Patrik Gregersson came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Dala-Järna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrik Gregersson couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viktor Hedlund was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Trollhättan FK's Patrik Sigman got control of the ball when Magnus Adelsköld tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patrik Sigman stood somewhat misplaced when Patrik Gregersson came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 55 minute. 64 minutes into the match, Trollhättan FK's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Gregersson came free, but Patrik Sigman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Viktor Hedlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Patrik Gregersson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. After 72 minutes of play, Dala-Järna's Sven-Arne Fredriksson made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrik Sigman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patrik Gregersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrik Sigman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magnus Adelsköld in the 81st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Arne Fredriksson got free with Patrik Sigman in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 84 played minutes Trollhättan FK got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Hedlund. Patrik Gregersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Trollhättan FK's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Gregersson came free, but Patrik Sigman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dala-Järna's Sven-Arne Fredriksson got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trollhättan FK's Patrik Sigman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Gregersson in the 98th minute of play. When the match was over Dala-Järna could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Trollhättan FK throughout the match.
