When Rikard Källberg came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Hammar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rikard Källberg couldn't finish the play. If Otto Tham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hammar's Rikard Källberg got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Otto Tham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Otto Tham came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Hammar fans jumped to their feet. After 23 minutes of play Riksgränsen RK's Simon Albom was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 24th match minute, Riksgränsen RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Albom to maneuver through the defense. Riksgränsen RK's Rune Åkesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Tham in the 25th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pontus Dalgren to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Rikard Källberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Riksgränsen RK's Rune Åkesson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Otto Tham who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Rune Åkesson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Rikard Källberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charles Ekegren charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Rikard Källberg took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Rune Åkesson to make any attempt to save it. Otto Tham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Rune Åkesson made a huge save. 94 minutes into the match, Hammar's Rikard Källberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rune Åkesson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Riksgränsen RK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hammar were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
