Gustaf Barck was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Olof Apelkvist. Daniel Stabbe hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Sören Åkerman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Bolltapp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sören Åkerman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Billy Wallgren scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustaf Barck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nils Andersson scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jörn Fogel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 29 minutes, Billy Wallgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Bolltapp and the Napoli players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Billy Wallgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nils Andersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaf Barck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sören Åkerman's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Jörn Fogel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Andersson in the 36th minute of play. Magne Wållanders short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Gustaf Barck to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Daniel Stabbe charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Stabbe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Napoli getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Daniel Stabbe hit a great ball. If Melker Sundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils Andersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nils Andersson made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Daniel Stabbe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Bolltapp's Aron Svartengren couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Napoli. 57 minutes into the game, FC Bolltapp's Sören Åkerman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustaf Barck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Sören Åkerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Barck having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Napoli's goal looked a bit too open when Sören Åkerman came free, but Gustaf Barck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Harry Ferm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Bolltapp's Aron Svartengren was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gustaf Barck in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Aron Svartengren's late challenge caught a Napoli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aron Svartengren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th minute Nils Andersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörn Fogel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Harry Ferm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sören Åkerman in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustaf Barck saved Napoli from getting behind.
