Åsbro's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustav Falkrantz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The audience was convinced that Gustav Falkrantz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Edvin Myhr was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. That made the score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. The supporters of Sjovvan United FC booed when Åsbro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position.
