The audience thought a goal was coming when Sonny Mellberg got free with Fabian Askstedt in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Eskilstuna FK's zone, Måns Ingvall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan Skog came out of the goal and Måns Ingvall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roland Damm kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Måns Ingvall had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Allan Skog. Eskilstuna FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Måns Ingvall was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Måns Ingvall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emil Lind charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emil Lind the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Manchester UTD getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Emil Lind hit a great ball. Felix Groth received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabian Askstedt came out and tried to block the shot, but Felix Groth slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 36th minute. If Valter Hamnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Askstedt was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Felix Groth capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felix Groth really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Manchester UTD's Fabian Askstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Manchester UTD from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Groth made a kick off. A collision led to Eskilstuna FK getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Arvin Kruse hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Fransson in the 55th minute of play forced Manchester UTD's goalkeeper Fabian Askstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th match minute, Manchester UTD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Olof Gustafsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute Sonny Mellberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Askstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59thth minute of the game Sonny Mellberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manchester UTD's Fabian Askstedt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute, Felix Groth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Sonny Mellberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabian Askstedt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sonny Mellberg ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Sonny Mellberg put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fabian Askstedt. When Felix Groth came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Eskilstuna FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Groth couldn't finish the play. If Sonny Mellberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Felix Groth came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Eskilstuna FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Groth couldn't finish the play. Felix Groth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabian Askstedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. There was no doubt that Eskilstuna FK were the better team. Eskilstuna FK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
